    Theresa, Dallas County home organizingHi, my name is Teresa Jungerman, your professional organizer. While I may be new to the role of entrepreneur, I am not new to organizing. I acquired most of my professional experience during my 25-year administrative management career in corporate America and small business environments, where organization was key to getting things done. During my career, I often wished I could expand my skills outside of my job and help others get organized in their homes and businesses. I began helping friends and family with various projects and finally decided it was time to turn it into a business venture. I started on Thumbtack.com offering Dallas County home organizing and had my first customer within a few days; the rest is history.

    When I am not organizing things, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and my beautiful cat, Skipper, cycling with my 87-year-old (yes, I said 87!) awesome dad, keeping up with current events, and eating out. I am very passionate about transforming spaces and processes for better efficiency. It’s what gets me out of bed in the morning! Having a degree in Psychology, I understand how overwhelmed or embarrassed people can feel when their environments become unmanageable. It brings me joy to assist my clients in moving past this obstacle to find peace in their homes, businesses, and lives.

  • RATES

    desk, Rockwall County home organizing servicesPHONE & PHOTO CONSULT: Complimentary! I have had great success with this quick and easy consultation method for routine projects. It saves time and helps me get to work on your project as quickly as possible. ​

     

    ONSITE CONSULTATION: $40 for more complex projects or the client’s preference. This fee is due at the time of consultation.

    ORGANIZING SERVICES: $60/hr base rate, 4 hours/$240 minimum per entire project (some exceptions may apply). Typical cost per session ranges from $240 – $420 (4-7 hours). Estimated time of completion is based on the size of space, quantity and type/size of items, and any additional services needed.

    SHOPPING FEES: $60, which covers one trip and any returns. There is no markup on items purchased.

    ONLINE SHOPPING: When done with the client, there is no additional charge.

    ADDITIONAL COSTS: New organizational items; contractor charges (trash haul away, handyman, storage install); garage sale and event supplies; trash bags (to be provided by client).

    SERVICES INCLUDE

    Organization, Downsizing, Decor/Room Rearranging, Decluttering, Cleaning Out and Space and Efficiency Planning for Any Room/Area, Collections, Garage and Storage Units, Unpacking/Room Setup, Office Process Development, Paper Management, Filing Systems (including electronic), Garage Sale Setup, Event Setup Assistance, Budget Organization, Time Management, Texas Moving Assistance

    Organizing sessions may include clearing & light cleaning; sorting and organizing (keeping, tossing, and donating); contractor coordination assistance; assembling organizational items; hanging small to medium-weight wall décor; and donation transportation of one carload per session.

    HOW IT WORKS

    I take great care to limit the feeling of being overwhelmed during the project. My client-friendly method employs a “little by little” approach, focusing on smaller groups of items at a time. The process is as follows:

    1. Discuss with the client the details of the project and their unique vision and goals.
    2. Determine if additional items and services are needed and the budget for those items. In some cases that may not be apparent until we progress through the project. This can depend on how many items will be discarded or retained in the space, which cannot always be determined ahead of time. I can shop for those items or suggest items to be obtained by the client at a later time.
    3. Determine an estimated cost and timeframe.
    4. Determine payment method.
    5. Set a date for the project.
    6. Proceed to Ace Your Space!
    7. Follow up by sending tips and tricks to the client for ongoing organizational success!
